People

Who is on the project, the People chats, invites, and handing a project over.

Two places share the name. People on the rail is the chats between the people on the project. Settings › People is who those people are.

Chats with people

A People chat is the same as any chat (a thread, a Doc, Tasks, Files, Context), listed apart from the chats with Flexi. What people say there goes straight into the thread; Flexi is asked only when someone writes @Flexi, and then he answers what was asked and leaves the rest to you. Everyone else on the project gets an email when someone writes and they are away.

Who is on the project

Settings › People lists the Owner and the Team members, with a Flexpert badge on a flexpert. Team members work in every chat and see everything.

• Invite someone: only the owner invites, by email. Tick They are a flexpert when they are one. The person gets a link to /join/… that works once, for seven days, and the link is shown to copy too, to send another way.
• Removing: only the owner removes people, nobody removes the owner, and anyone can leave.
• Hand this project over: the owner can hand the project to someone on it, a flexpert to the client they built it for, say. That person becomes the owner and the old owner a team member. A project nobody pays for yet starts its free trial that day.
