A chat is one piece of work: naming, chips, files, replies, archive.
A chat is one piece of work with Flexi: one conversation, one set of working files, one Doc, one list of Tasks. Start a new one for each piece of work, from the + on the Chats list (the green + in the bar on a phone). A new chat starts fresh; what should carry across lives in the Library.
A new chat takes the first line of your first message as its name until Flexi names it. The name is the chat's header and the browser tab's title. Rename it by clicking the title in the header on Everything; on a phone, tap the title or the ⋯ beside it to open the chat's sheet, with the name at the top. A name you give is never replaced by his.
On a desktop the header switches with the words Chat | Work; on a phone it shows one icon, the way to the other view. Chat is the conversation. Work is what the chat made: Files, Doc, Tasks and Context, in their own article.
uploads/ first, each chip saying Saving, then Saved, and only then does the message go. A zip is unpacked, never kept as a zip. A file you sent is a chip over your words; tapping it opens it.Never paste a key, a password or a card number in the box. The page stops most of them and offers the Vault instead; Keys and the Vault says how.
His replies are markdown: bold, lists, links, code and small headings. A blank line starts a new bubble. A file he made is a card in the thread and opens in Files once the turn that made it has ended. A commit to the site is a card too.
The archive box sits at the right end of Work's tab row, on a phone and a desktop alike. An archived chat leaves the Active list and nothing is deleted: Archived on the Chats list shows it, and everything it made stays in its folder in the repo.
